Most Needed Items
The following items pack the most nutrition and are most needed in the Campus Cupboard and other community food pantries:
- Canned Vegetables (< 230 mg sodium)
- Canned Fruit (light or no syrup)
- Canned Meats (< 480 mg sodium), including Tuna and Chicken
- Canned Soup with Vegetables (< 230 mg sodium)
- Cereal (hot or cold)
- Nuts, Seeds, Nut Butters
- Whole Wheat Bread, Tortillas, Pasta, Brown Rice
- Gluten-free pasta, crackers, breads
- Granola bars
In addition to these items, the Campus Cupboard is in need of the following (please do not donate perishable items or utensils at Food Drive collection points):
- Fresh Vegetables
- Milk and Milk alternatives
- Yogurt, Cheese
- Fresh produce
- Cooking oil
- Spices and food seasonings
- Small kitchen utensils - can opener, paring knife, small pots and pans
- Soap, Deodorant, Shampoo, Menstrual Products
- Toilet Paper
The Campus Cupboard has a refrigerator and a freezer.
